Par défaut, les liens mailto sont inactifs dans firefox 2. Pour qu'un nouveau message de thunderbird soit ouvert, suivre les consignes suivantes :
- afficher le gestionnaire de configuration de Firefox 2 en saisissant
about:config - créer une nouvelle ligne par clic droit, sélectionner 'string' et écrire les mots suivants :
network.protocol-handler.app.mailto - affecter la valeur
/usr/bin/thunderbird

Si la fenêtre de téléchargement ne contient pas la liste des fichiers téléchargés, pour résoudre ce problème, suivre les points suivants :
- fermer firefox
- rendez vous dans le dossier
/home/hugues/.mozilla/firefox/5x87frx2.hugues-f3/ - supprimer le fichier downloads.rdf
- redémarrer firefox
